I sort of wish texting didn’t exist. Then nobody would be freaking out all the time. Becuase it takes 2 seconds to communicat a trillion feelings. You can just as easily decide not to send one as you can decide to send one. A call can mean anything. If someone calls, you know that they did. They had something to say. They actually wanted to talk to you. and if you miss the call its a mystery until they call back, and hopefully they answer. But if they don’t, it can turn into a joyfully soul killing game of phone tag. You just don’t know what they were going to say half the time (unless they ruin the fun by sending a text or facebooking you or leaving a voicemail which we know we all hate to check). Whatever someone says in a text is just out there … and for what? So someone can lock it and look at some “feeling” that someone could have just half-heartedly thumbed out in a spare moment? It’s stupid. I guess you could say I over analyze most of my texts, but how do you know if the person on the other end is too? You just don’t. It’s just too easy for people to be short with you. Answers like “K”, and “Yeah”, and “haha”, are just too easy and nobody really knows how to reply to them. Its just ridiculous. Sometimes I think, I’m going to go into the phone store and have them disable my texting … but then I think of how weird that would be. We just simply live in a culture that has to be plugged in all the time and thats sad because half of the time it just hurts, and it’s no fun.

Sorry about that rant. I hope it was insightful. I am just having a weird week. Nothing is right. We have had 3 snow days in a row. But the thing is, New Mexico is crazy, there was only like 2 inches of snow. But it’s basically because the temps have hit record lows and the state is running out of natural gas, making the schools shut down because we either have broken/frozen pipes, or we are conserving the gas for people in need. So this will be fun. The past 2 days I have just been anti-social and done homework and stayed warm from the -13 degree weather…exept yesterday when I did a Lookbook entry….my dad was like Skye, you crazy kid, nothing is worth running around outside in this weather. But it was fun for me! But tomorrow my friends are making me get out and so we are going to hang out downtown and see a movie then we will all stay at my house. It will be nice. I love my friends a lot.

I am just having a hard time sleeping right now… so yeah its after 2am, but really this is better than laying in bed tossing and turning. I just ordered valentines day prezzies for my friends from Fredflare.com….its pretty hillarious…. Then I ordered some Splendid stuff from Nordstroms, and a ton of stuff from Urban Outfitters…surprise surprise…….I am pondering some stuff from Free People, but I don’t have a lot of January money left on the visa….and the February, you know, has to last through February. But we’ll seeeeee. I just want the Splendid stuff to get here sooooon because lately i have been completely obsessed with their stuff … it’s just all so comfy, casual and above all cuteeee. its all so basic, and you can pair any of it with anything. So thats pretty nice. They also have some fabulous colors. I ordered one shirt in a color “peacock”, and its so beautifullll I realllly can’t waittt! Thats like the most exiting part of my day, baiscally thats how lame I am….:P

I’m going to get some sleep, and hopefully (definately), tomorrow will be better.

It has been SO long since I have updated. I have been unreasonably busy…But I have 2 new Lookbook.nu looks up, which aren’t my best, but I was having an intense need to post something, sooooo thats what I did! I got a new camera for christmas along with some beautiful clothing, so, there will be lots of looks and posts to come! I haven’t even posted since school started! But I’m going to find more time to blog because I really need my creative outlet back … I’m getting waaaayyyyyy too wrapped up in school-friends-boys-dance-related pressure, and I really need to calm down and work on things that make me feel good … like fashion ….. because school is a trillion times harder than ever lately, I have a complicated social life at the moment, I can’t be staring at the phone all the time anymore because SOMEONE is being completely … horrible … and being at the dance studio 5 days a week is a bit stressful (even though dance is basically what keeps my head in one piece … ). I hope to make my blog more updated and interesting in the near future!

Hello My Pretty People!

I know I have been gone for the past few days, everything has been so hectic!!! School starts on Monday…and am I ready, No.

I ordered some amazing 80%20 olive green “Molly” wedges from Shotwell. They came yesterday! I love them so much! I am going to wear them on the first day of school paired with my gold silk pins and needles shorts, a Free People lace slouch top, and possibly a black boyfriend blazer, if it can be dry cleaned in time. My school bag just arived like 2 seconds ago, as I am writing this post. I haven’t looked at it yet. But it is a black Deena & Ozzy leather messenger bag. My dad said that I should just order a reasonably cheap, easy to wear bag, before I immediately change my mind and want something else-which I am notorious for. The people in Santa Fe, and pretty much all of New Mexico, are completely blind to style. All the kids at my school are used to dressing in what could be considered our “school uniform” (we don’t have one, but the girls end up dressed the same) is pretty much a tee shirt, hoodie, skinny jeans, with either uggs, or converse. I am not going to lie- it’s repulsive…of course there are some people who are different, myself included. But every year when we get new kids, I am slightly scared of being judged like I have been so many times before. I go do a small school-165 kids, 6 grades. So it’s hard not to notice if someone is different. But my school is the school for kids who are “different” (aka, the alternative to the ultra-intimidating SF Prepratory, or the public school, SF High). But at my school if you are a different kind of different than everyone else, you stick out. So once people get used to you sticking out, then it’s okay, but it’s convicing them that it’s okay is the problem… Anyway, enough of my ramble!

So pretty much I thought I would share my love of Chloe! Enjoy!
